The area was repopulated by neighbors of Toledo, likely thing for its proximity to the Montes de Toledo and the people belonging to that city.

The villa was head of the Lordship of the Suárez de Toledo, whose house are still remains, preserving one of the towers of what was once a palace or fortified house next to the church built in the fifteenth century.

In the relations of Felipe II of 1575 it mentions that the property is Juan Suarez de Toledo, with about 250-300 residents.

In the eighteenth century it was the villa of the Duke of Uceda, Comte de Montalban, with a total of 340 neighbors.
